Lockton are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Smith as Executive Manager, responsible for Group Life and People Risk, effective as of 1 June 2015.
Peter brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the area, with strong technical and business qualifications. With over 20 years’ experience in executive leadership and management roles, Peter has a proven ability to successfully analyse an organisation’s critical business requirements, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and develop innovative and cost effective solutions for clients.
Previously, Peter held the role of Global Head of Strategy and Planning & Distribution at MetLife based in New York, with prior roles in national employee benefits leadership for large international insurance brokerages. He has many years’ experience providing Group Life, Corporate Health, Workers Compensation and Personal Accident Insurance services to some of the largest corporations around the world.
